Who's your favorite artist?

When I think about my favorite artist I think in Fernando Milagros (I've talked about him before), a chilean artist that I met about 4 years ago. 

Fernando is a musician that has been working on the music area for 10 years, starting with Vacaciones en el patio de mi casa in 2007 and continue working until today. His last work is Milagros, a joyful album that dialogues with latin american sounds which help in the idea of union (of the nations, of ideas, even in the union with yourself) that even Fernando has taken and worked before.

My favorite album of his is Milagros because I think it has very honest sounds, in the voices, in the instruments. In some songs you can hear and notice some moments where notes were not well executed, but it doesn't bother, it works in an aesthetic of humility that Fernando didn't show in other albums, or at least not as clear as in this one. The lyrics also works in that way, some of them are true stories, some of them are dreams, anyhow you feel like he's a storyteller that in three or four minutes can narrate and build a moment or a world in your imagination. 

I've felt inspired by Fernando and his work because he doesn't work from his comfort zone, he's always searching and creating new ways of expressing himself, which is something that I attempt to do someday.
