Best concert ever... well, kind of
It was november of 2013 when I met Fernando Milagros. I mention this because I got to meet him before I could even go to any of his concerts, which is a really weird thing to happen with musicians.
Anyway, the first concert of Fernando Milagros I assisted was in january of 2014, after a really bad day because Silvia, the friend I went with, was mugged and we had to do all the paperwork by phone and really late in the evening. so, it was really difficult to block the credit cards and all those things.
We went to the concert nevertheless because we already had the tickets and it could be a distraction from all the bummer.
Well, who is Fernando Milagros anyway?
He's a chilean musician, who was born on 1980 in Talcahuano. In his early years, he moved to Santiago and a few years later he studied Theater Design in Universidad de Chile, after he ended his career he started to make music on his own and on 2007 he released "Vacaciones en el Patio de mi casa". After that he has continued creating music, working for plays, television and releasing discs.
We knew a few of the songs, yet the concert was really moving and fun. We sang, danced and cried (a little). The atmosphere was really intimate, like a campfire, he even sang a few songs acapella. It was a really good experience after a really bad moment and it really helped us forget everything for a moment and just enjoy the music. After that event, we made friends and sometimes I go to his concerts and take some pictures (like the one on this entrance) so it also became an oportunity to work with someone that I look up to.
